BMW VDO CHRONOMETRIC
This is a very rare instrument.AVDO Tacho with a Smiths Chronometric movement. They appeared primarily in Factory Porsche and BMW racers.

rolls royce tachometer
Our customer had a late 70's Smiths 0-3000rpm tachometer and wanted to install it into his 1920's Rolls Royce that is fitted with a 1940's Rolls Royce Tank engine. He needed the tachometer in a hurry as he was due to fly to Norway to fit the tachometer and set off on a trip around the world.We did our best in a short time frame.

Rodger uses Chronometric instruments in his Marcos including this speedo which was also used in the 1966 XJ13 Jaguar Lemans prototype.

CLOCKS
Clocks have been in cars since the early days of motoring but unfortunately their quality was particularly poor during the 50's, 60's & 70's.
We repair a lot of clocks but be aware it takes time for this to occur.
We can change the polarity of clocks and in some cases such as American Borg Clocks we can change the movement to quartz.
